Picture this: It's 5 PM on a Tuesday. I'm sitting at my desk, scowling at myself because of something a client client requested and I know I filed it away to work on later but now, I can't find... Again!!
I had all the business knowledge. I was brilliant at helping my clients solve their problems. But running my own business?
Hot mess express🚂🚂peep the pics of my chaos space🤦🏻♀️
My desk looked like a tornado hit it, don't believe me take a look at the pics🫣🤭. You can even see the Girl Scout Cookie order form for my daughter's Girl Scout Troop. I had 23 browser tabs open (minimum), 47 unread emails, and a to-do list that would make a Navy SEAL weep. By 2 PM every day, my brain felt like a tether ball after middle school recess from decision fatigue.
Sound familiar?
That Tuesday night breakdown wasn't just about something a client client requested. It was about feeling like a fraud. How could I help other businesses when I couldn't even find my own files?!!
Everyone kept telling me the same thing: "Just get organized. Use a planner. Try time-blocking." Yeah been there, done that, got the tee shirt to prove it!
Because here's what nobody told me: All that advice was designed for neurotypical brains that work nothing like mine.
Sitting at my desk, it finally hit me: I wasn't broken, My systems were!
My ADHD brain wasn't a business liability—it was a different operating system that needed different software.
That night, I made a decision that changed everything: Instead of trying to force my square-peg brain into round-hole systems, I was going to design operations that worked WITH my neurodivergent wiring!
For the next six months, I became obsessed with one question: "How do you design business systems that amplify neurodivergent strengths instead of fighting them with applications and platforms already out there?!"
So I did what any ADHDer would do, I dove head first into a internet rabbit hole full of YouTube videos, blogs, video testimonials from neurodivergent entrepreneurs and a plethora of medical journals and university papers. I interviewed so many neurodivergent entrepreneurs. I tested every productivity method, automation tool, and organizational framework I could find.
Most importantly, I experimented on myself.
Slowly, methodically, I rebuilt my entire operational foundation from the ground up—designed specifically for how my ADHD brain actually works!
The results were mind-blowing:
70-hour weeks became 35-hour weeks
Decision fatigue virtually eliminated
Mental energy available for strategic thinking
Family dinners became sacred again
But here's what really amazed me: It didn't feel hard anymore. When your systems work WITH your brain instead of against it, business becomes energizing instead of exhausting.
That's when I realized-- If I could crack this code for myself, I could crack it for other neurodivergent entrepreneurs.
Because here's the truth nobody talks about: The business world is designed by and for neurotypical brains. Linear thinkers who process information sequentially and thrive on rigid structure. Yes I changed the font to Arial to emphasis the statement😆!
We think in networks, not lists. Our energy fluctuates dramatically. We need flexibility, not rigidity. We process emotions and logic simultaneously.
And that's not a bug—it's a feature.
My Mission: Prove That Neurodivergent Brains Are Competitive Advantages
Every day, I meet brilliant entrepreneurs who've been told their neurodivergence is a liability. Who've been handed neurotypical productivity advice that makes them feel broken. Who work twice as hard for half the results because no one understands how their brain actually operates. Hell I actually had a supervisor tell me once that he didn't believe in ADHD that it was just made up...😮🤬!
That stops here.
Your brain—with all its beautiful chaos, creative connections, and hyperfocus superpowers—isn't the problem. The problem is a world that designs systems for linear thinkers and then wonders why brilliant neurodivergent minds struggle.
I'm here to change that narrative. Not by changing you, but by changing your systems.
The Bigger Picture
When we optimize one neurodivergent entrepreneur's operations, the impact ripples outward:🌊🌊🌊
Their family gets a present, energized parent back. Their team gets clear systems and processes. Their clients get better service because their provider isn't overwhelmed. Their community gets the innovations that come from protected genius.
That's the real mission: Creating a world where neurodivergent brilliance is unleashed, not constrained!
I'm Ivy—Certified Business Process & Client Attraction Specialist, recovering workaholic who saved myself 35 hours a week by building my own nero-friendly system! I've been working in operations and business systems for over 20 years.
My mission: Prove that neurodivergent brains aren't business liabilities. They're competitive advantages waiting for the right systems.
When I'm not optimizing operations:
• Experimenting with new AI tools (current obsession: decision fatigue elimination)
• Advocating for neurodivergence anywhere I can!!
• Maintaining my urban homestead (surprisingly very therapeutic for ADHD brains)
Fun fact: I'm obsessed with Notion and have 10 workspaces for different life areas. Yes, they all talk to each other. No, that's not excessive—it's strategic🤓.
Advanced systems design and operational optimization
Strategic business development and ideal client clarity
I've been exactly where you are—drowning in operational chaos with a brilliant brain that just needed the right systems to support it.
